Happy Thanksgiving |
 |
|
In
everything, we must give thanks to
the Lord. As much as every one of us
earns thanks in every positive act
we accomplished, Togolese Foundation
owes a special thank you to all his
members and contributors. We are
taking this Thanksgiving opportunity
to thank everyone who has
contributed financially,
technically, through prayer or who
has the desire to support any of our
programs. May you start counting
your blessings now.

Toofan and Neolie in concert in North
Carolina , Greensboro et Charlotte |
 |
|

We believe firmly
that no one ignores the input of our artists in the development of our
Nation. They are our spokesmen beyond our borders and our messengers
within the country. It is therefore imperative that we all support them
so that they can lift up high the colors of our Nations. Factually, the
free and illegal copy of their CDs can never help them to reach their
potentials and produce better music that we all expect.

Congratulations!
Togolese of the month of de September 2009:
Emmanuel Koutoglo |
 |

It seems true as we
all think that working together has never been easy
for Togolese. A new generation of Togolese has come.
A new philosophy is taking place. A new desire is
emerging. The children of Togo must get together and
work together.
Sure, it may not be
easy to do it but with people like Emmanuel Koutoglo,
we are convinced that Togolese will find reason for
unity.
I
For these reasons, he has been selected as the
Togolese of the Month of September 2009 by Togolese
Foundation...

The
New
Beginning:
Summer project 2009 in TOGO - Togolese Foundation |
 |
|

We
believe that not only it seems important to gather
resources and services to send home but it is also
important that we remind each Togolese about what
their responsibilities are in building our economy,
fixing our health system, creating jobs, assuring
the security and rearranging educational system. For
these reasons Togolese Foundation is currently
organizing a weeklong of cultural and sportive
activities in Lome "The
New Beginning",
Togo in order to reemphasize the civic education...

The call for Unity |
 |

No one can ever ignore the value and the
competence of Togolese in the world. We have been and we are
still well-liked people. However, the political, economical, and
social climates are no longer reflecting these honorable
attributes. The question to be asked is to know the root of this
paradigm shift.

The reality about Diversity
Lottery DV |
 |

Diversity Lottery program generally called Green Card
Lottery has been introduced to Togo approximately 15 years
ago. Originally hesitant, Togolese have been quickly well
informed about such lottery program and over informed these
days about the process. For some of them DV Lottery is a
passport to an everlasting life. Others believe that it is a
certificate of end of misery. Furthermore, some think it is
a diploma of wealth. But no matter the perception, we
generally forget the steps to follow until we receive the
visa.

The Togolese in
France |
 |

As
we all know, living abroad as an immigrant is never an ideal
situation. Getting legal documents, being able to integrate
the social life different from what you have been used to,
bringing or living with family are some of the challenges
immigrants face. However, we realize that immigrants from
certain countries are better off by forming associations to
support each other. Through these associations they are even
able to contribute to the development to their respective
countries. What about Togolese who are living overseas...?

Privileges
and Proud to be a Togolese |
 |

From a smile of little child sitting beside a cascade in the middle of a
forest, Togo is revealed as a country of small miracles, a
precious stone shining beside a pacific water of Golf of Guinea
in West Africa. It is one of the smallest countries in Africa
but be careful, Togo is a proof that the smallest is the best.

Togolese Brain Drain:
What are their living conditions overseas? |
 |

Generally, most immigrants do not have a choice
regarding their professional life while overseas, especially in
Europe. In most cases they are powerful business owners,
commandant in chief, CEO, brief, influential individuals in
their country before traveling abroad.
But once they become immigrants, they can no longer choose an
employment related to their field of expertise and experience.
