The Association of Committed Togolese (A.C.T.) in Greensboro, in collaboration with the Togolese Association in Greensboro (T.A.G.), cordially invites you to the Independence Day celebration of Togo on April 27th, 2008.

 

The Republic of Togo is a West Africa nation, which got her independence from France in 1960. There are about 500 Togolese nationals in Guilford County, out a total of 3,000 in North Carolina. This celebration will be mostly focused on honoring the memory of our forefathers for their struggle and sacrifice to secure independence for our beloved country for us to enjoy nowadays and to share with others our culture and heritage.

 

We will be highly honored to count you among our distinguished guests as we know that your presence will enhance the importance of the festivities.
